Learn about the plan to move forward to improve safety and traffic operations in the Holly Springs Corridor at an open house 6 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. You will have an opportunity to review community input received on the 2022 SPLOST project. County jobs open to serve the public
► Cobb County is looking for temporary workers to serve at more than 100 voting locations during the General Primary Election Tuesday, May 21. The paid workers will set up and close polling stations, greet voters and play a crucial role in verifying voter registrations. To participate, you must be 16 and older.
► Drive for Cobb County Senior Services and help people stay connected and active in our community. You'll be a vital member of the team, taking seniors to and from Cobb senior centers, appointments, grocery stores, and more. Apply now and start your rewarding journey. This part-time position pays $17 per hour.

Chairwoman Lisa Cupid's 2024 State of the County Address at the Cobb Galleria will be available to view live online Thursday, May 16. The CobbTV broadcast will begin with the speech, which is scheduled to start at approximately 7 p.m.

Big trucks and little trucks are rolling to the Cobb Civic Center for the county Department of Transportation Touch A Truck event, 1 - 4 p.m. Friday, May 24, at 548 South Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta. Admission is free.
There will be transportation and construction equipment, sanitation vehicles, and vegetation equipment to highlight Public Works Week and the amazing work they do to keep the county running smoothly.
Providing help to the caregivers
Are you a caregiver in need of relief? Cobb County Senior Services can help! Its Respite Care program provides temporary relief to caregivers caring for loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other neurological conditions, physical or intellectual disabilities, or who require assistance with at least three activities of daily living.
Watch for bills from Cobb Water with important information about changes to your account. Cobb Water recently updated its billing system. All customers will be notified of their new account information in the coming weeks. All account numbers have changed and the new account number will appear on your first bill. Email notifications are being sent out in batches to customers with valid email addresses in our system.
► All fees and disconnections are paused through the transition to the new billing system
Please be patient as staff learns the new system and works through any issues. There may be long call wait times and intermittent interruptions of access to bill payments, online services and account access.
You can get your adoption fees waived at Cobb County Animal Services through the end of May. Join in the mission by donating either six cans of unopened and unexpired pet food or bags containing the same weighing more than 10 pounds when you're looking to take a pet into your home. The shelter is located at 1060 Al Bishop Drive, Marietta.
