Save money and water throughout the season
As you get ready to water your lawn, Cobb County Water System encourages you to take four simple steps before turning on the irrigation system:
• Inspect. Check for clogged, broken, or missing sprinkler heads, or contact an irrigation professional certified through a WaterSense labeled program to help. A damaged head can waste thousands of gallons of water during irrigation season.
• Connect. Examine the connection points of sprinkler heads and pipes and hoses. If water pools in your landscape, it may indicate a leak in your system.
• Direct. Redirect sprinklers to only water the landscape.
• Select. Update your watering schedule with the seasons or select a WaterSense labeled controller.
Sprucing up irrigation systems can help homeowners save water and money. Join Cobb Water for a lunch and learn on Friday, May 31, to learn how to maintain your irrigation system.
