Cobb County has received reports of text messages claiming to be from Cobb Elections and Voter Registration. The messages direct recipients to apply for an absentee ballot via a link to the Georgia Secretary of State's office. While the link is legitimate, the text messages are NOT from Cobb Elections, and the phone number is a spoof.
Important safety tips:
• Never click on links in emails or texts unless you know the sender's identity.
• Spoof websites can look identical to the real ones. Always verify by typing the URL directly into your browser.

County water makes the grade
Excellent quality drinking water is essential to human and environmental health. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires every local water supplier to provide a Consumer Confidence Report to its customers each year. Cobb County Water System is pleased to report that our drinking water meets or exceeds federal and state quality requirements.
The annual Water Quality Report, also known as the CCR, provides important information about the sources of our drinking water, regulated contaminants found in local drinking water, unregulated contaminant monitoring in your drinking water, the potential health effects of contaminants on certain populations, and your role in water quality.
