The Cobb County Communications Office received the prestigious Savvy Award for Best Annual Report during last week's City-County Communications and Marketing Association Conference in Arlington, Texas.
Cobb won for its 2023 annual report, which was produced entirely in-house, placing it in competion against publications produced by cities and counties with significantly larger communication departments and resources.
Judges praised its creative approach, highlighting the digital presentation and the effective use of graphics to enhance readability. They said the report "effectively showcases the county’s projects, successes, and initiatives in a visually appealing and engaging format. The strategic use of bright colors and vibrant local imagery, paired with detailed information, makes the report both informative and attractive.”
Additionally, the Cobb County Communications Office was recognized for graphic design and the use of humor in communications.
