Don’t click unsolicited links! The Georgia Department of Driver Services is warning about a new text message-based scam. If you receive a text that your license has been suspended, it is a fraudulent attempt to get your personal information, officials said. The department notifies people of changes in their license status in writing. Visit the Department of Driver Services here to check the actual status of your driver’s license.
